Swedish duo Roll The Dice have just signed to Leaf and are preparing to release a great limited edition EP called Live In Gothenburg – August 7 2010 for Record Store Day. We feel that the two tracks on this great cosmic synth release put RTD in a similar bracket to Emeralds and Cluster.
The sinister clip was directed by fellow Swede Frode Fjerdingstad (who also made the video for ‘The New Black’ from last year’s self-titled debut) and might be compared to watching paint dry! š
‘The New Black’ and ‘Undertow’ are live renditions of tracks taken from 2010’s debut Roll The Dice. The vinyl comes beautifully packaged, limited to 750 copies for the world, including a printed inner sleeve and two postcards.
RTD are Stockholm-based duo Malcolm Pardon and Peder Mannerfelt (also a member of Fever Ray). The band’s debut can also be listened to here:
