Hidden Orchestra are delighted to announce that they will be touring their highly acclaimed “Night Walks” album around Europe in March and April 2011. This follows the ecstatic response to their tour of the UK last November, which saw a phenomenal turnout for a debut act, with all shows at or near capacity, and garnered outstanding reviews, including an iDJ Magazine spread comparing the experience of their live show to that of the great Cinematic Orchestra.

“Night Walks”, released on Tru Thoughts in September 2010, has been met with critical acclaim (including BBC Radio 1 Introducing’s “Album of the Month” and iDJ’s top albums of 2010; radio play from Laurent Garnier, FIP, NME, Radio 1 Prague and may more worldwide) and sparked a genuine and organic buzz among music fans, with a huge demand to experience the music in a live setting.

Capping an outstanding year, bandleader Joe Acheson’s ‘Footsteps’ DJ mix came in at No. 11 in Mixcloud’s 2010 chart, having accrued some 20,000+ streams and downloads. A limited vinyl pressing of the album was released in January 2011 and has almost sold out already, and a second single, “Antiphon”, will be released in April. Look out for further promo activity in conjunction with this tour, with more incredible DJ mixes, giveaways and press/radio features.
